Dr. Mrs. Aishat Tanimowo Keshinro Archievement

Dr. Mrs. Aishat Tanimowo Keshinro is a Chief Medical Officer of Health, a Public Health Physician, a Local Government Administrator and a Social Worker that interfaced between the Government at the grassroots and the rural dwellers.

She is an astute manager of human, material and financial resources who effectively and efficiently implemented Government policies at the Local Government level.

She is also a Rehabilitator that established the Refugee Camp in Oru, Ijebu North Local Government in 1991 and rehabilitated about 1000 Refugees from Liberia. She also single-handedly took care of the Muslim Pilgrims in Mecca and Medina, Saudi Arabia during the 1996 Hajj Operations when there was an Outbreak of Cerebro Spinal Meningitis.

She was also in charge of the Health of the People of Odogbolu and Remo North Local Governments during the Outbreaks of Ebola Virus and Corona Virus in 2014 and 2020 respectively.

She is bold, courageous, honest, diligent, a woman of valour yet very humble and meticulous with fine character that could pass for Perfection. Her unassuming character, kindness, generosity, uncommon care and concern for others in any situation stood her out as a symbol of Motherhood, a good role model and a Leader.

Her Tertiary Education was at the Premier University of Ibadan - MB.BS; Administrative Staff College, Topo, Badagry, ASCON - PGDPH; Intermediate Management Course in Primary Health Care, at the Primary Health Care Development Agency, Abuja - Certificate; and several courses on Leadership, Conflict Resolution, Primary Health Care, Project Management etc.
